If you yourself, a relative, or someone you know has old tattoos — a few years or several decades old — that is exactly what the image archive needs. By “older tattoos” we mean tattoos that, as of today (the 2020s), are at least forty years old. There is also interest in older photographs of studios, tattoo artists, tools, fairs, etc. To contribute to the project and make the image archive possible, please do the following:

• Provide a photo (old or new) of the tattoo or the activity in question
• Write down when it was done (year or decade)
• If possible, where and by whom it was done
• If possible, a short anecdote related to the tattoo or the event
